2. The Clinical Nurse Educator only deals with the provision of clinical nurse training at the station/unit level. A nurse will gain Nurse Clinical Educator status on a personal basis by being invited by the hospital to provide the aforementioned education programs. Nothing in this clause affects the role that the Clinical Nurse Specialist as a specialized resource and the Clinical Nurse Consultant in the primary role of clinical counseling, research, etc. to practice. (x) “Nurse Educator” means a registered nurse with a postal registration certificate with experience or other appropriate qualifications deemed appropriate by the employer designated as a Nurse Educator.
